Working at Heights (Practical Module 4hr)
- Fall prevention/protection system requirements and limitations
- A-B-C component selection, inspection and use
- Harness inspection, fitting exercise and evaluation
- Lanyard inspection exercise and evaluation
- Travel restraint, fall arrest set-up exercise and evaluation
- 100% tie-off exercise and evaluation
- Ladders, scaffolds and elevating work platforms
- Rescue plan – components and purpose
- Safe work strategies and safe anchor exercise

Working at Heights Refresher Waterloo: The course takes 4 hours
Checklist for Participants:
- Government-issued photo identification must be presented
- Participants must present their MLITSD Proof of Training card at the start of class
- Course payment is required prior to the date of training
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the course start time (8:30 am), late participants will not be admitted and payment will be forfeited
- Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe footwear, do not wear open-toed footwear such as sandals or flip-flops
- Duration: 1/2 Day (4 Hours)
Why Do You Need to Take It?
A Working At Heights refresher course must be taken every 3 years in order to remain Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) compliant
Who Should Enrol in This Training Program?
Any person who has completed a previous 8-hour MLITSD-approved Working At Heights course and has not taken the refresher course in 3 years MUST enrol in this training program to remain compliant.
