At ACUTE, we strive to provide the very best fall protection training. Some of the things we have done and continue to do to strive for this lofty goal are conducting the training at your facility, hiring only trainers with first hand experience, tailoring course materials to the policies and procedures of the employee’s company, the use of multiple teaching methods, hands on training with the equipment and a number of other things you can read more about below. If you need fall prevention or working at heights training make us your choice today.
We Can Conduct Fall Protection Training At Your Facility
“ACUTE’s trainers have a passion for the material and care about their clients.”
Experienced Instructors With First Hand Experience
All of our training instructors have first hand experience with the equipment and subject matter in the field. The person that will be training your staff has extensive experience and not just experience in the classroom. They have real experience in the field.
Tailored Course Material To Your Specific Corporate Policies And Applications
At ACUTE, we can, if you wish, have the fall protection training course material tailored to be specific to your company. We can do this by incorporating your corporate policies and procedures right into the training courses we conduct for your employees. In addition, we can use examples and scenarios in our training that are specific to your company. We can use examples and scenarios that you know your employees will be facing in their work. This customized approach brings the training to life, making it much more practical, valuable, and engaging.
We Use A Number Of Teaching Methods
In all of our courses we use a number of teaching methods as we know every person learns differently. Some people learn by seeing, some people learn by hearing, some people learn by reading, some people learn by discussing, and some people learn by doing. That is why we incorporate all of these aspects into our training. Our training programs include discussions, handouts, quizzes, demonstrations, hands-on learning with the equipment, and watching instructional videos.
Video Course Material That Engages
In all of our courses we use a number of short videos as just one part of our varied approach to teaching. Using videos makes the learning more interesting and engaging for the participants. As a result we have found that students retain a much higher portion of the content they are being trained on.
Hands-On Training With The Equipment
With all of our fall prevention and fall protection training we include a section of hands-on training. This section of the training allows students to actually use the equipment we talk about in the course. This ensures that your employees will know exactly how to use the equipment when they are in the field and that the equipment will work properly in the event they do have a fall.
Practical Performance Evaluations
Throughout the training our instructors conduct practical performance evaluations to ensure students are learning the material. This gives the instructor the opportunity to correct students where they make errors and encourages faster learning. By providing this feedback to your employees throughout the training course, the material also has a tendency to be memorized with higher recall rates.

This program focuses on safe practices when using scaffolds as work platforms. Scaffold use can present many dangers to workers who are unaware of or inattentive to safe scaffold procedures. Despite the dangers, working on a scaffold can be straightforward and safe if users are trained and follow safe assembly, use and dismantling procedures. The program covers understanding load capacities, anchoring and securing, the use of personal protection equipment, safe use practices, and rescue planning.
