Working at Heights: Why Do You Need Training if You Work at a Height?
Working at Heights training is important to have if you work in a location where, if safety steps weren’t taken, you could fall a distance that could cause you personal injury. You should take Working at Heights training, if:
- You work above the ground floor level
- There is a possibility of you falling from an edge, through an opening or fragile surface
- You might fall from ground level into a hole in the ground or an opening in the floor
Working at Heights includes falling from one level to a lower level. It doesn’t include if you slip and fall on the same level or if you fall while walking up or down a permanent staircase.
